Is it legal to purchase products like this?
Yes, all themes, plugins, add-ons, and extensions that are distributed by our repository are 100% open-source with the GNU GPL.
How can you offer the products at such low prices?
All WordPress items, such as plugins and themes, are licensed under a General Public License (GPL). This means that once we have purchased an item, we are free to redistribute it if we choose to do so. Your membership to our website goes toward buying new and maintaining current subscriptions to the third-party author’s themes and plugins. This form of crowd funding helps keep our prices low, and we share this benefit with you.
Are these genuine products?
Yes, all of our products are 100% genuine and authentic. If we feature a product on our website, then we have an active subscription to that product. We download the product from them and redistribute it to you. These downloads are not altered in any way, shape or form.
How many sites can I use the plugin or theme on?
Unlimited. The plugins and themes are GPL-licensed, and you can use them as often as you need to, on however many sites you choose.
Do you provide updates to the products?
Yes. As soon as we are notified about an update, we go and download it from the author and update it on our site.
We offer free updates for the first 12 months after your purchase. After this period, you’ll need to purchase the item again or renew your subscription to receive further updates.
Can I keep the plugins and themes after my subscription ends?
Yes. Under the GPL license, you are free to keep them if you want. Please be aware that you will need an active subscription with us if you want to access any future updates.
How many products can I download?
Unlimited. After subscribing to our monthly/annual plan you’ll have access to all the products. However, We have a fair use policy that allows you to download 20 items per day.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You are never locked into anything. You can cancel your subscription anytime from inside your member’s area.
Can I get a refund?
On Membership Subscriptions: Yes. We offer a 7-day money back guarantee.
On individual products:
Requests for refund on undownloaded files (you have downloaded 0 times) within 7 days of purchase will be honored. If a product purchased is non-functional and/or you are receiving errors, please contact us as and we will send you new/refreshed file(s). If the issue(s) persist; check the Authors/Developers/Publishers website for any known issues or causes. If a resolution is still not reached, we will ask you to provide screenshots and the steps taken to reach the error. If it is determined that the file is in fact functioning, however not compatible with your website’s current settings/set-up (hosting server, WordPress version, etc); unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds for the purchase, as the product is not at fault and sales are final. But if it is determined that the product we provided is just not working at all, we will issue a full refund.
Outdated file(s): Sometimes we may be a tiny bit behind on updating products. If you purchase a product and you notice the file(s) are outdated, please reach-out to us and let us know. We will respond within 24-48 hours and have the product updated for download as soon as possible.
All refund requests are issued and processed within 3-4 business days. Refunds may take several business days for your bank to show it once we've processed it.
Are these products free of viruses and other malicious codes?
Yes, we guarantee these products are clean. You can check for yourself with any download from our website that they do not contain malicious code, viruses or ads.
What if the Plugin/Extension/Theme does not work the way I want?
Please carefully read the description and features of the product, which are from developer, before purchasing. We do not give any guarantees that the product you purchase will function the way you want as there are many factors that can affect the way a product works (hosting, WordPress version, etc).
We do not change the functionality of the products in any way, if you need help, please contact the developer directly and purchase a license for support.
Why are plugins asking me for license keys?
You can ignore these requests. Developers include these keys to be able to automatically update their plugin or theme and allow you to register for support. The item itself will work perfectly normal without entering a license key. You will need to update manually as updates become available on our website.
You can also hide the license activation reminders through a plugin like “WP Hide Plugin Updates and Warnings.” This is a free plugin that is very popular in the WordPress community.
Does WP for less offer license keys?
No, we do not provide, lease, release, or resell any license keys. All of the products offered on our website are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). You do not need license keys to use them, regardless of how many products need. License keys are only required if you want to receive automatic updates and support from the author/publisher/developer of a plugin or theme.
